Welcome to your Queer Weekly Horoscope, a bite-sized look at the coming days broken down by your zodiac sign.

Put on your boxing gloves. In an effort to seek balance, Libra Season closes out with a week full of fighting. The Sun starts things off by taking a swing at Mars, causing self-doubt, frustration, and anger all round the zodiac. Venus opposes Uranus but creates a trine with Neptune, which makes it harder to get what we want, but we can still chart a safe course if we listen to our intuitions.

The Full Supermoon in Aries absolutely obliterates everybody with emotion. Because it’s very close to the Earth, this Full Moon is the biggest and brightest of the entire year, and its discord with Mars and Pluto is likely to cause outbreaks of immense frustration unless we channel our anger into productive purpose.

Finally, Venus sidles up to Pluto in a sweet sextile flirtation to prepare us for change before Venus leaves Scorpio and moves to Sagittarius. Forget about demureness, but stay mindful. If we’re careful, we can ride this week’s Full Moon rage to positive outcomes!

Libra’s up first for this weekly horoscope, then we’ll move through each sign until we see where everyone’s chips will fall. If you know more of your placements than your Sun Sign alone (Moon, Rising, Mars, etc.), check their entries as well to get a full picture of your astrological forecast.

Libra
What the stars are up to:
  • The Sun, Lilith, and the South Node are in your sign.
  • The Sun squares off against Mars.
  • Your sign ruler Venus begins the week in Scorpio, where it opposes Uranus, creates a trine with Neptune, and forms a sextile with Pluto. Then, Venus leaves Scorpio and moves to Sagittarius.
  • The Full Moon in Aries opposes the Sun.
What it means:

This week opens on a bout of self-conflict, when the Sun’s contention with Mars causes you to question your own motivations and doubt your present course of action. In this state, you could feel unusually aggressive, or you might feel angry about your lack of energy. Maybe both! Ugh.

Your sign ruler Venus is distant from Uranus, and you can’t summon much desire to try new things. But then Venus takes a liking to Neptune, so you fantasize about ideal circumstances nonetheless. After the Full Moon, Venus gets friendly with Pluto and summons the willpower to face the inevitability of change. Venus leaves Scorpio and moves on to Sagittarius, where it bides its time until next week. On the last full day of your season, Venus creates a trine with the North Node that causes a longing for the future, even as you fixate on the past with your pal the South Node.

This week’s Full Moon is a big one, looming very close to the Earth. Prepare for huge feelings!

Scorpio
What the stars are up to:
  • Mercury and Venus are in your sign.
  • Your sign ruler Pluto is in Capricorn.
  • Venus opposes Uranus, creates a trine with Neptune, and forms a sextile with Pluto. Then, Venus leaves your sign and moves to Sagittarius.
What it means:

You’re not in the mood to experiment in pursuit of your desires, but you’re overcome with a craving for perfection anyway. This could cause frustration when you can’t bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be, or it could result in an unexpected flare of satisfaction when you feel momentarily grateful for your still-unfinished progress. Probably both! After the Full Moon, you’re gripped with a longing to put your desires in order in advance of Scorpio Season.

Sagittarius
What the stars are up to:
  • Your sign ruler Jupiter is in Gemini.
  • Venus leaves Scorpio and moves to your sign.
What it means:

This week’s Full Moon should be a powerful one for you because it’s friendly with your sign ruler Jupiter. I would advise you to pay attention to your feelings, but there’s not really much need: During the Full Supermoon, your emotions will crash down on your head with all the subtlety of a gigantic cartoon anvil. You won’t be able to avoid understanding your feelings, especially once Venus leaves Scorpio and swans its way into your sign.

Next Monday, on the last night of Libra Season, Venus sets your heart on the future. On the way into Scorpio Season, you’ll experience a strong draw toward people and experiences that will help you advance along your path.

Capricorn
What the stars are up to:
  • Pluto is in your sign.
  • Your sign ruler Saturn is retrograde in Pisces.
  • Venus forms a sextile with Pluto.
What it means:

This week’s Full Moon will inspire ridiculous shenanigans all around the zodiac, severely testing your patience with others. But then Venus takes a liking to Pluto and your own icy little heart warms a bit in response. Try to remember that other people aren’t (usually!) annoying you on purpose. They just don’t have your ironclad cardinal earth sign power of control over their emotions, and unfortunately they sometimes can’t help themselves from behaving irrationally.

Aquarius
What the stars are up to:
  • Your sign ruler Uranus is retrograde in Taurus.
  • Venus opposes Uranus.
What it means:

This week, you might feel as if people you wish would like you are currently acting distant and uncaring. Your crush could also presently seem to be obsessed with you, only for you to realize that their longing is based in projection and they’re failing to see you as you truly are. One way or another, you’re liable to feel pretty grossly misunderstood. But don’t stress about it too hard! Such is the fate of every person alive on occasion, and the uncomfortable sensation of feeling unknown will fade as Venus continues to orbit.

Pisces
What the stars are up to:
  • Saturn and your ruler Neptune are both retrograde in your sign.
  • Venus creates a trine with Neptune.
  • The waxing gibbous Moon in your sign passes through conjunction with Saturn and Neptune, squares off against Jupiter, creates trines with Mars and Venus, and forms sextiles with Uranus and Pluto.
What it means:

For a few fleeting moments in the middle of the night, the waxing Moon in your sign might make you feel direly unlucky. It’s funny that this early A.M. angst is probably what you’ll notice most strongly, because pretty much everything else is going your way. This week’s alliance between Venus and Neptune puts you powerfully in touch with your desires, and you have all of the tools you need to pursue them when the Moon provides emotional boosts of order, intuition, energy, attraction, insight, and renewal. Go forth and conquer your insecurities!

Aries
What the stars are up to:
  • Chiron and the North Node are retrograde in your sign. (The North Node is always generally retrograde, that’s normal.)
  • Your sign ruler Mars is in Cancer.
  • The Sun squares off against Mars.
  • The Full Moon in your sign forms a sextile with Jupiter, squares off against Mars and Pluto, and opposes the Sun.
What it means:

You begin the week fighting with yourself when the Sun clashes with your sign ruler Mars. Self-doubt isn’t really in your wheelhouse, but you can certainly feel angry and resentful when you’re feeling like you’re not making progress toward your goals — or when you’re unsure whether you’re even pursuing the right goals in the first place.

The Full Supermoon in your sign strikes with a knock-out blow of big feelings. Happily, the Moon aligns pleasantly with lucky Jupiter to cushion the hit, but the Full Moon is distinctly at odds with Mars and also with Pluto, the representative of change. You tend to prefer direct, uncomplicated paths toward progress, and you’re unlikely to feel thrilled about these delays. Furthermore, the Moon reaches the closest point of its orbit to Earth in your sign, so the feelings will be correspondingly big! Carve out some extra time to do whatever you like to do to handle frustration. You’re extremely likely to require an outlet to release heightened stress.

Taurus
What the stars are up to:
  • Uranus is retrograde in your sign.
  • Your sign ruler Venus begins the week in Scorpio, where it opposes Uranus, creates a trine with Neptune, and forms a sextile with Pluto. Then, Venus leaves Scorpio and moves to Sagittarius.
  • The waning gibbous Moon in your sign opposes Mercury; forms sextiles with Saturn, Mars, and Neptune; passes through conjunction with Uranus; and creates a trine with Pluto.
What it means:

This week, your sign ruler Venus struggles to access insight but adores intuition. Follow your gut instinct even if your brain can’t make logical sense of it. After the Full Moon, Venus prepares your mind for reinvention and moves from Scorpio to Sagittarius, where it will aim your desires toward the future.

You benefit from a benevolent Moon this week, mostly gentle after its reign of rage in Aries. You won’t feel very communicative about your feelings while the Moon is in your sign, but you receive emotional boosts from the representatives of order, energy, idealism, creativity, and reinvention.

Gemini
What the stars are up to:
  • Jupiter is in your sign.
  • Your sign ruler Mercury is in Scorpio.
  • The waning gibbous Moon in your sign opposes Venus and squares off against Saturn.
What it means:

Your sign ruler Mercury is chilling out being antisocial in Scorpio this week, and you’re feeling as Scorpionic as you ever get. Toss on a leather jacket and brood about it! You’ll probably attract some attention from the other signs while they’re trying to distract themselves from this week’s Full Moon feelings. You might entertain them for a moment, but by the time the Moon lands in your sign, you’ve become bored with desire and angry about obligation. Spend some time alone and wait for the onset of Scorpio Season.

Cancer
What the stars are up to:
  • Mars is in your sign.
  • Your sign ruler the Moon travels through Pisces, Aries, Taurus, and Gemini.
  • The Full Moon in Aries opposes the Sun.
What it means:

This Full Moon is a big one! Not literally. The Moon hasn’t actually increased in size. But perceptually, it’s very close to the Earth at the time it opposes the Sun. This Supermoon in Aries is actually the biggest and brightest of the entire year! It will appear visually full for several days, and everyone will definitely be feeling their biggest feelings for the entire duration.

This Full Moon brings challenges in conflicts with Mars and Pluto, the rulers of action and evolution. Because you are so attuned to the Moon, however, you are especially well-placed to confront emotional problems and wrestle them into submission. If you feel angry, remember to direct your emotion to confront obstacles that are holding you back. Don’t waste the power of a good rage on ineffectual outbursts at other people who just happen to be nearby.

Leo
What the stars are up to:
  • Your sign ruler the Sun is in Libra.
  • The Sun squares off against Mars.
  • The Full Moon in Aries opposes the Sun.
What it means:

Oof, you’d better grip onto something solid and clench up your abs for a gut-punch of emotion this week. First, your ruler the Sun battles with Mars, the ruler of fighting. This squabble takes place inside your own mind and heart, and it’s liable to get ugly. Nobody fights meaner than yourself vs. yourself. You can get truly vicious against such a perfectly matched opponent.

Then, the gigantic Full Moon in Aries ramps up tension beyond maximum tolerance. Find a safe outlet for your feelings in advance, otherwise your emotion will break out in unexpected places and onto innocent bystanders. Use the power to tackle something that’s been holding you back. You might not defeat the obstacle in one go, but it’ll feel way better to attack it than to wreak uncontrolled destruction upon yourself or your loved ones.

Virgo
What the stars are up to:
  • Your sign ruler Mercury is in Scorpio.
What it means:

Your capacity for aloof mysteriousness is dialed up to 11 while your sign ruler Mercury broods quietly in Scorpio. Consider taking a social media break for the week. Even if you lurk, post nothing. Ignore low-effort texts from your situationship. Let people miss you for a while before you provide any life updates. You’re busy looking at leaves and pondering the nature of the universe, and you don’t have to perform for anyone unless you genuinely want to put on a show.
